Family counseling services aim to assist families in navigating difficulties associated with communication, conflict, and various other concerns. As licensed therapists, our role involves collaborating with families to pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses, enhance their communication and problem-solving abilities, and foster a greater sense of unity and support within the family unit.
The focus on family reunification aims to restore the connections among family members. A person-centered approach plays a crucial role in attaining the optimal permanency objective of reuniting families within a secure and nurturing setting. In the course of reunification therapy, practitioners thoroughly evaluate the strengths and requirements of both children and their families. The active participation of parents and children in case planning, enhancing family strengths while addressing individual needs, and effectively implementing these plans are essential components for successfully reaching a family's reunification objectives.

Under the supervision of a Qualified Supervisor, graduate and post-graduate MFTs gain professional experience working with clients, couples, families, and groups. MFTs develop systemic thinking skills and gain the knowledge and clinical contact hours to qualify for the National Marriage and Family Therapy Licencing Examination.
We offer community educational material to help families work with their medical teams to decide on the proper medical and mental health treatment. We also provide information for online training referrals for Court or DCP-mandated training. See the Referral Page for more information.
