Autism spectrum disorder is reported to be a lifelong developmental disability. Although there is no “Cure” for ASD, there are therapeutic interventions, techniques and learning approaches that can benefit to people with ASD at every level of their lives. The goal is to provide support and/or services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Karen Muhammad is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS-IBCCES)

I work with individuals seeking to improve their mental skills, performance, focus, concentration, motivation, and overall wellness.
Career counseling services can help you identify your strengths, interests, and values, and develop a plan to achieve your career goals. Career counselors can provide guidance on job search strategies, resume writing, interviewing skills, and more, to help you succeed in your chosen field.
Group therapy sessions are great for adults, parents and teenagers who are dealing with similar issues, such as acculturation, grief, or anxiety.
Clinical supervision is one of the first steps many trainees take to become Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs). Under the supervision of a Qualified Supervisor, graduate and post-graduate MFTs gain professional experience working with clients, couples, families, and groups. MFTs develop systemic thinking skills and gain the knowledge and clinical contact hours to qualify for the National Marriage and Family Therapy Licencing Examination.
I offer community educational material to help families work with their medical teams to decide on the proper medical and mental health treatment. I also provide information for online training referrals for Court or DCP-mandated training. See the Referral Page for more information.
