Graduate students in the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program (MAMFT) check with your clinical department for the qualified steps. The clinical director can contact me to discuss supervision needs.
While under the supervision of Dr. Karen, provisional licensed marriage and family therapists (MFTs) have the opportunity to market their services in accordance with the AAMFT Code of Ethics Standard XI , as well as local and state licensing regulations. This initiative allows them to grow their client base within our practice. As postgraduate clinicians, these provisional MFTs can acquire essential clinical experience and earn the relational hours required for full licensure. I invite postgraduate Marriage and Family Therapists from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Michigan to join us.
Secondary supervision is available for provisionally licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (MFTs) who are employed at different private practices, clinics, or inpatient treatment centers lacking an on-site qualified or approved supervisor. This model of supervision is designed to enhance oversight of their clinical practice while also affirming their hours spent in relational therapy.
I conduct group supervision for both MAMFT graduate students and post-graduate MFTs.
